I'm Shaili Sutaria — a self-taught installation artist, ceramicist, and seeker of magic in the mundane. After 15 fast-paced years in filmmaking across Mumbai and Los Angeles, I chose to slow down, breathe deeply, and listen to the whispers of the earth. Goa became home, clay became my guide, and Luneclay — my studio, sanctuary, and school — was born.
Since 2015, I’ve sculpted my days using wood, rope, mirrors, seashells, and everything organic, drawn by the textures of nature and the mysteries of the sea. My work is an ode to oceans, forests, fungi, and moonlight — playful, intuitive, and reverent. I create not to perfect, but to participate in the sacred dance of becoming.
In my sun-drenched studio in Anjuna, I teach, learn, and grow alongside my daughter and a community of curious souls. I shed an old self with every piece, embracing the cracks that let the light in. This is where art meets healing. This is where I become whole.
