Founded in 2020, Luneclay began as Shaili’s personal exploration of slow, mindful making and soon grew into a studio that embodies her values. Set in the coastal calm of Anjuna, Goa, the space is a sanctuary for clay and community. Where the rhythm of nature informs the rhythm of creation. Every object made here carries an echo of its environment, merging the tangible with the emotional. Like soil to spirit.
What started as a solitary practice has evolved into a collective of artists, craftsmen, and collaborators who share Luneclay’s philosophy of mindful artistry. Together, we build, teach, and learn in dialogue with the material and one another.
Clay, for Shaili, is a conversation between earth and hand— an ever-evolving transformative dialogue between touch and time. It's a medium of impermanence where forms emerge and dissolve, just as everything in nature does.
Shaili’s practice is deeply inspired by the organic world of fungi, coral, driftwood, and the unseen geometries of growth. Guided by the clay’s quiet logic, Shaili explores impermanence and patience, finding meaning in what is organic, and ever-changing.
