What's in it?
If you feel drawn to pottery, this comprehensive course is your chance to dive in. You'll learn the essential skills needed to become a studio potter, from understanding clay and using tools to mastering hand-building and wheel techniques. You'll also get a brief introduction to mold-making, batch production, glazing, and gas firing. Most Importantly, you'll work closely with artist Shaili Sutaria, who will help you discover your unique voice in pottery. Through both theory and hands-on practice, you'll gain the confidence to start your journey as a studio potter. Pottery is a slow, meditative art that challenges core philosophies and urban mindsets. Prepare for a physical, mental, and spiritual evolution.

Fees Include: Clay, materials, and tools. Dress for a mess: Be prepared to get dirty during these fun, hands-on session with clay. We recommend wearing clothes that you’re completely comfortable getting messy in. Reservations: No walk-ins allowed. Please reserve in advance as spots are limited. If you’d like to transform your work into a finished, functional ceramic piece, we offer professional firing and glazing services, chargeable at an additional ₹1000 per ware (max adult palm size). Your finished piece will be delivered in approximately 1 to 2 months. This timeline begins once we receive your delivery address, payment confirmation screenshot, and a photo of the specific creation to be processed. This fee does not include the shipping cost. Fragility: While we pack with the utmost care, please be aware that ceramics are inherently fragile. Variations in texture and minor artisanal marks are part of the unique charm of handmade pottery.
