If you’re looking to explore and focus on the technique of slabbing in pottery, this short course is the perfect place to begin. Learn to create strong, even slabs to build tableware, artefacts, and sculptural forms. The process is both meditative and precise—ideal for those with a geometrically aligned mind. Develop a solid foundation in slab work as you experience the complete ceramic process unfold. What your week looks like: Day 1: Wedging and designing three wares Day 2: Creating strong slabs for all pieces Day 3: Assembling forms, cleaning, finishing, and decorating Day 4: Sanding, fixes, repairs, and preparing greenware we will attempt to create three varieties of small slab projects over this duration. a 3-day drying break will be observed to have the wares biscuit fired. Day 5: Glaze your wares For ages 12+

Fees Include: Clay, materials, and tools. Reservations: No walk-ins allowed. Please reserve in advance as spots are limited. Additional Charges: Firing and glazing are chargeable at an additional ₹1000 per ware (max adult palm size).
