What's in it?
If you’re looking to explore wheel-thrown pottery, this short course introduces you to the language of the wheel. Learn to center yourself as you center the clay—an exchange built on patience, awareness, and touch. The process is meditative, where balance between maker and material allows form to emerge with quiet grace. What your week looks like: Day 1: Wedging and preparing clay Day 2: Introduction to centering on the wheel Day 3: Practice pulling on the wheel Day 4: Practice pulling and working with measurements Day 5: Introduction to trimming wares we will attempt to create three to five wheel-thrown wares over the duration of this workshop. a 3-day drying break will be observed for biscuit firing. For ages 12+

Fees Include: Clay, materials, and tools. Reservations: No walk-ins allowed. Please reserve in advance as spots are limited. Additional Charges: Firing and glazing are chargeable at an additional ₹1000 per ware (max adult palm size).
