What's in it?

If you’re drawn to the technique of coiling, this short course opens up its creative possibilities. Learn to build strong, even coils that form the foundation for larger ceramic works—vases, sculptures, and organic forms. The process is meditative and grounding, offering a deeper understanding of structure, patience, and flow. Perfect for those who want to strengthen their coiling practice and experience the full rhythm of clay. What your week looks like: Day 1: Wedging and designing 3 wares Day 2: Coiling and sticking forms Day 3: Cleaning, finishing, and decorating Day 4: Sanding, fixes, repairs, preparing greenware We will attempt to create three varieties of coiled projects over this duration in small sizes. A 3-day drying break will be observed to have the wares bisque fired. Day 5: Glaze your wares For ages 12+

Fees Include: Clay, materials, and tools. Reservations: No walk-ins allowed. Please reserve in advance as spots are limited. Additional Charges: Firing and glazing are chargeable at an additional ₹1000 per ware (max adult palm size).
